The influence of Jean- Michel Basquiat endures, evident in this new and truly unique 3D portrait by contemporary artist Felix Semper is being shown in New York City.

Inspired by Abstract Impressionists, street artists, and deep rooted connections to Cuba and Spain, Semper live for four months immersed in historical films, art and articles about the artist from New York in the 70s and 80s. This stretchable paper sculpture is the result of the total immersion and creative process.  CrumlicMedia was delighted to once again collaborate with Semper to share the story.
